Job Summary:
Design Engineering interns play a vital role in the new product design and the current product development processes. Interns are given an end goal on many projects and then allowed the freedom to design a solution. That solution gets reviewed by mentors and either implemented as is, or revised and resubmitted to mentors.
This internship is based around designing new products or aiding in the development of current products. This process is done with hands on training using the latest design software and prototyping practices. After working at Sukup Manufacturing Co. as an engineering intern, they will be very familiar in Solidworks design software and will have gained a vast amount of hands on engineering and manufacturing experience.
