Sukup Medium Duty Hopper Bins are engineered for smaller-scale operations, offering an economical yet robust solution for grain storage. These hopper bins are designed to serve multiple purposes in your grain handling system. They are an ideal choice for use as a wet holding tank, directly feeding your Sukup grain dryer with efficiency. Additionally, these bins are suited for the extended storage of cool, dry grain, ensuring your grain remains in optimal condition over time.

The Medium Duty Hoppers maintain the high standards set by Sukup's farm bins. They utilize the same high-quality sidewall and roof sheets, ensuring durability and longevity. This feature is crucial as it assures the elements and the demands of grain storage.

The design of Medium Duty Hopper Bins is versatile and adaptable. Medium Duty Hopper Bins may be mounted on overhead superstructures, enhancing their functionality for loading into semis or train cars. This feature is particularly beneficial for operations that require efficient transportation and handling of grain.

Sukup’s Medium Duty Hopper Bins represent a blend of economic efficiency and durable quality, suitable for a variety of grain storage needs.

  • Round head bolts on hopper portion minimize grain build-up
  • Rack and pinion opener comes standard on all Medium-Duty Hopper Bins

Roof Features

  • 12'-21' standard roof peak load rating is 5,000 lbs, evenly distributed on peak ring as pure vertical load with uniformly distributed roof snow load calculated from 40 psf ground snow zone or 105 mph wind zone as defined by ASCE7-10 Code
  • Rigidized roof panel with 3" ribs that serve as rafters, strengthening the roof sheets
  • Continuous eave clip provides a strong roof-to-sidewall connection
  • Roof rings are standard on Sukup bins 18' and larger. Exclusive, roof ring clips (U.S. Patent #7,654,048) ensure that roof rings stay in place for years to come

The big push that I’ve got – other than the dryers, the dryers are number 1 – are the power sweeps. The power sweeps have really sold great. They’ve been used to the competition and they’ve found out how much better our product is.
