Job Summary:
The Solutions Specialist will help execute the deployment of automation projects for Synk™, which is part of the Sukup Innovations™ family. Synk is a platform providing on-farm automation solutions to enhance productivity and profitability.
As a Solutions Specialist you will be responsible for working closely with customers to understand their requirements, providing expert guidance throughout the installation process, and delivering post-installation support to ensure long-term customer satisfaction. Your ability to offer technical expertise, respond to customer inquiries, and provide timely solutions will be vital in maintaining and growing customer relationships. This position is integral in ensuring dealers and field team personnel are enabled to successfully position Synk offerings.
Essential Job Requirements:
• Installation Execution: Installation of automation systems, including sensors, controllers, and other components, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and address any issues or obstacles that arise during installation, implementing effective solutions to minimize disruptions and delays.
• Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to customers and dealers following installation, ensuring they are proficient in operating and maintaining automation systems. This role will be a primary support contact with communication via phone, email and on-site visits.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including progress reports, inspection records, and inventory management.
• Collaboration: Assist our dealers with developing tailored packages of products and value-added services to meet customer needs. Educate dealers and customers through training programs and farm shows.
• Safety: Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and use of safety equipment needed to perform the job
Preferred Skills:
•Bachelor's degree in engineering, agriculture, or related field preferred or equivalent job experience.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• 5+ years working directly with dealers and customers within the agricultural industry
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% and/or work off-shift hours
• Ability and willingness to work in outdoor environments
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
